WhiteHouse Lawn Victory Garden



Have you signed the petition? "Eat the View!" is a campaign to urge the Obamas to replant a large organic Victory Garden on the First Lawn with the produce going to the White House kitchen and to local food pantries.

  • right on karen! i signed this petition before obama even got elected, but sooo glad you have posted it here for others to see! i really hope he does this! have a secret wish to see beehives there also!lol who knows,maybe if he does the garden he will be amiable to the idea of hives! hugs from leslie

  • I think those pink hives of yours would be perfect! I would love to see this too. Wouldn't it be great if they did do a victory garden, use all volunteer work, and maybe it would cost a billion dollars!

  • awww i knew what you meant karen!lol i believe the same thing. i think organic farming groups, beekeeper groups, local gardening groups etc etc would all feel honor to donate time and resources to make the white house lawn a victory garden! i know i would love to pitch in a couple days a year, especially if there was a chance to meet our new first family, who i personally am just crazy about! hugs to you hon
